Pilot t-shirt Boeing 737-800 by Eeroplane

Planes are beautiful, aren’t they?

It started with a simple idea : design and create good quality aviation t-shirt that I wanted myself. Back in 2013 I was standing in front Supermarine Spitfire, P-51 Mustang and P-47 Thunderbolt in Le Bourget Museum. The inexplicable feeling to create – homage to all the great people who created aviation – sparkled in that moment…

Hand printed & organic

I moved to France – such a wonderful country. Working abroad in new project in print production for big brands I missed air club a lot. To kill the misery I designed and produced a t-shirt for myself. It was Supermarine Spitfire tee that is our best seller ever since. Then colleagues and friends asked for my t-shirts. So with my wife Lucie Tatarova who studied print techniques in New York PRATT institute – together we started to print our designs according to traditional serigraphy techniques. Our print is different to many of the market serial production.

Water based inks makes our tees special.

Eeroplane style was defined in 2013 by our iconic Spitfire t-shirt.

If you told me back in 2013 that this online store will exist, I would not believe you. But as time passed we made happy customers base that collect our clothes. To progress faster we went from side project to full time in 2019.

Eeroplane products are worn today by clients from America, Asia, Australia and Europe.

Going full time was scary… I quit safe and good job in Automotive lighting development working for Peugeot, Citroen and Opel brands. We lost security, but we gained time. We can experiment more and focus on new product collection better than before. But the only thing that matters is a happy client who love to wear our products.

Eeroplane is a family art & design atelier with personal client service. Our mission is sustainability. That’s why we use water based inks, 100% organic cotton on majority of our products. That is something you can feel only when you touch our products. It can’t be seen on the images.

Our atelier is pure wood, ceramics, bricks, stone and metal. Internal packaging is made from recycled carton boxes. And if we do not have to use the car, we walk, we ride a bike to send the packages over to you.
